Rotary Club of Minot NOON Meeting

The Student Center is located on the MSU Campus at the corner of 11th Ave NW and Broadway.

Parking: Rotarians will be provided an e-parking permit that they'll need to print off and put on the dash of their vehicle. This allows you to park anywhere. Our greeters inside the main entrance will have a few extra printed passes if needed. 

Directions: Park in the East lot of the Student Center building. Walk in the front doors and you will see Rotary greeters that can direct you where to go, as well as sandwich boards set out to give directions. When you walk in, you can either go to the right and take the elevator up to the 2nd floor for the Beaver Cafe, or you can walk straight past the bookstore and up the flight of stairs, with the Beaver Cafe on your left. 

Dining/Lunch: Let the cafeteria staff at the front entrance know you are with Rotary. There will be a sign-in sheet so we can track your meal. You may choose any item in the cafe -- hot lunch, salad bar, a la carte options, etc. Once you have your food, use the stairs or elevator to proceed to the 3rd floor. Both the Conference Center and the Westlie Room are on the 3rd floor. Look for the Rotary sandwich boards to help direct you. If you need help carrying your tray, etc. please let the greeters know so we can assist you. 

We will NOT have our regular noon meeting on Monday, March 31st, and we encourage our members to instead attend the Fellowship & Program on March 31st from 5pm-7pm at the Minot International Airport. 

Join us for Noon Rotary's Spring 2025 Fellowship event at Minot International Airport! 

We will be meeting at the Minot International Airport Snow Removal maintenance building to see and hear about the Snow Removal process at the airport.

DIRECTIONS: The Backpack Buddies program provides food for school children who might not otherwise have food over the wekend. Volunteers will pack bags of food, and this process will take approximately 1 hour. Please register through the online registration form or call Stacy Askvig to sign up. 

Rotary Club of Minot Annual Scholarship Banquet
Rotarians are encouraged to arrive early to greet scholarship award winners. The banquet will start promptly at Noon.

Use the elevator to the right of the main entrance to go directly up to the 3rd Floor Conference Center. Lunch will be served benquet-style in the conference room.

Join us to serve a meal at The Welcome Table Soup Kitchen. Volunteer sign-up will be available soon! Brunch is served Saturdays from 10:30am-12pm and about 65 clients are served each morning.

SAVE THE DATE: Join us for a road trip to the International Peace Gardens! A few of our members have plans to meet with members from the Brandon Rotary Club to look at the 9/11 Memorial site that we supported jointly and discuss an update to the story boards at the site.  All club members are invited to join for a road trip to the Peace Gardens to spend time in Rotary fellowship and service. You are welcome to bring your family!

More information will be forthcoming, but the preliminary plans are to review the storyboards for updates, do some cleanup at the site and have lunch together.

We will not hold our regular noon meeting on Monday, May 26th due to the Memorial Day holiday weekend. 

Hot Tots Social - Joint Rotary Event (organized by Sunrise Rotary!)
Sunrise and Noon Rotary are reserving the party patio on the 3rd baseline at the Hot Tots game on May 28th at 6:35 PM.  It's early season so the sun will shine (hopefully) and it won't be too hot. 
 

COST:
Adult Tickets: $38
Kid Tickets: $18
Adult tickets include all you can eat buffet and three drinks, the kids receive buffet and a hat/popcorn/ice cream.

NOTE: Sunrise Rotary Club is organizing this event and will collect all money for tickets. They are covering part of the cost of tickets for their members, Noon Rotary Club members will need to pay for full ticket cost. When you fill out the form below to RSVP, you will select payment preference -- either bring cash to the game or Venmo.

TICKET DETAILS: Kit Christensen (Sunrise Treasurer) will reach out via text to coordinate drop off or have tickets held at the ticket window at the ballpark. Lend a hand and let's have a fun evening of socializing with our fellow Rotarians.
